Compressor oils for the lubrication of air compressors with compression end temperatures up to 220°C.
Properties and Performance:
eni DICREA-types are produced of best refined paraffinic base oils with agents against oil oxidation, corrosion and wear. They are especially ageing stable and therefore ensure a safe lubrication of air compressors with high thermal and oxidative loads. The oxidation stability of these oils meet the enhanced ageing tests that are required according to DIN 51 506 for the oil group VDL under addition of iron(III)-oxide. The formation of oil carbon and resin residues at increased temperatures is prevented as much as possible. All oil wetted metal parts are permanently protected from corrosion also at the compression of wet media.
Applications:
eni DICREA oils are preferrably used for the lubrication of piston and rotation compressors up to an compression end temperature of 220°C, for turbo compressors only for the lubrication of the bearing.
eni DICREA 100 and eni DICREA 150 are TÜV proved and meet the increased safety requirements in the mining industry.
For screw-type air compressors partially other lubricants, such as hydraulic oils according to DIN 51 524 T.2 or certain HD engine oils are preferred, however the products of the eni DICREA series are well-proven in the practice.
Next to the lubrication of compressors eni DICREA types are excellent suitable for the lubrication of highly loaded roller and sliding bearings, such as at calenders and rotary furnaces.
eni DICREA 68 and eni DICREA 100 can also be used as hydraulic oils HL according to DIN 51 524 T.1.
